Time Well Spent
Opportunities for good shots happen all the time... A willingness to get them is quite another thing! I find that when I do exert myself to get the shot I am always glad I did. I believe The same can be said about many things in life. A willingness to get out of your comfort zone always seems to manage to be for the bettering of your own self and the world...

The fullness
Life is given to us people with the expectation that we will do something with it. something useful? maybe. something helpful? maybe. but I put forward the thought that if we do not live in maximum of our being then perhaps we ought to...
The roar and crash of the waves as it thunders along the shore reaches my ears and as it sinks into my conscienceness I remember that my camera is outside taking a long exposure and needs to be retrieved...

The Beauty of the Earth
Have you ever thought of all the millions of flowers that bloom and fade without anyone ever seeing them? what is the purpose? is it because they are not so unobserved as we could imagine? Why does God make things beautiful, not just functional?...

Bugs
This time of year heralds a chance to enjoy something which are not usually appreciated as much as they should(aside from the occasional butterfly or ladybug). These remarkable creatures (although sometimes looked down upon) integrate wonderfully into the fabric of this planet.

Spring has sprung
The first day of spring is always a cheerful one for me. Spring in the pacific NW has been here for a month at least but to have the calender recognize the happy fact is nice. Of course with the thought of spring one has a tendency to think of flowers, greenery, and the dormant earth coming to life... never mind the mud the newly awakened insects, and dreary grey skies. Spring is one of the rare occasions in which the human psyche tends toward the positive. So I say... Hurrah for Spring!!!
